Koh Rin is an island with one notable beach situated in the Southeast of the island (the other is small and exposed on the west), the beach dramatically changes in width with the tides, creating unique experiences at both high and low tide. Just a few steps into the water at high tide, and you’re swimming among vibrant tropical fish. At low tide, the water recedes, and fish can be seen swimming beneath your feet.
Along the South east you’ll find soft sand and steadily dropping off ledge, the further north of the island becomes a steep drop.
Nothing on the island, there are some monkeys so becareful if you plan to go ashore with any foods as they will come.
Although the distance is still within 10nm of Ocean Marina Jomtien, the island rarely sees tourists, this makes it a great place to scout out and really get to spend some peaceful time discovering the island.
To the North and East of the island, you’ll find two smaller islands surrounded by coral that would be great for a trip to on a dinghy to explore.
